Anthony is the owner and Principal Optometrist at Clarke & Roskrow Styling Opticians. He has over 25-years of experience as a qualified optometrist and is a well-regarded and trusted clinician. Having worked in multiple optical environments, including High Street chains, independent practices, and the hospital eye service, Anthony and his wife Karen took over what was then K&G Roskrow Optometrists in 2014. Anthony’s professional career has seen him gain postgraduate qualifications in glaucoma and independent medical prescribing. Between 2003 and 2016 he worked in a specialist Consultant-led glaucoma clinic at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, where he also gained significant experience in managing other eye conditions. Anthony also held the position of Postgraduate Module Leader at Cardiff University with responsibility for running the postgraduate module in glaucoma between 2012-2014. Anthony is passionate about enabling his clients to benefit from the best vision possible, whilst also enjoying optimal eye health. He is a valuable resource for people looking for advice on vision, eye health, and how to look good and feel great in glasses. When not looking after the vision and eye health needs of his clients, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife Karen and their two sons, Thomas and William. The family is completed by Wilfred, their working cocker-spaniel (who makes the occasional appearance at the practice!). He enjoys being in the great outdoors and loves nothing more than running half-marathons and the occasional ultra-marathon. His greatest love (apart from his family and business) is to go skiing in the Austrian or Italian Alps - here he can truly spend quality time with the family and switch-off from the hustle and bustle of running a successful optical boutique!
