I travel quite a distance to come to this optician - because they’re outstanding! They have the most exquisite selection of frames, and I absolutely love the team here. Everyone goes out of their way to cater to any need you have. I have access issues and they’ve done everything they could to make my visits stress free and highly enjoyable.Anthony gave me my eye exam - he was so kind and the test was extremely thorough with some state of the art equipment - he explained the process as he went along which made for a really interesting experience too! I then had the most enjoyable hour choosing frames with Jason who is a pure delight - he put me at absolute ease and took me through a variety of different frames - some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. He has fantastic taste and I was very glad for his help - because the biggest problem was narrowing my choice - I ended up getting two complementary frames, one elegant, the other a bit more arty. I’ve just got home and Im even more delighted now!I’m not surprised that this wonderful company has entirely 5 star reviews - looking after my eyesight is a top priority for me and I trust this team implicitly to do that. I highly recommend to everyone!

Always a great experience at Clarke & Roskow with a very thorough eye test with everything explained. Choosing new frames with Tina was good fun and she was extremely helpful in picking out the right shapes to suit me and one of my purchases was the first pair she pulled for me to try. Collecting my new glasses was made into such a lovely occasion too with Tina putting in so much preparation to make sure everything was ready for me. I will be back!

I went with my husband to pick up his frames but was seduced by the designer frames and after advice from Jason, selected another pair. I had a first class eye test with Anthony earlier this year. I cannot praise the service highly enough and as vision is such an important sense it's worth paying for the best which you certainly get here.

Another excellent year of eye care from the team. Service is 5 star plus, from a very thorough eye test, to choosing glasses and fitting with the lovely Jason. How does he always know what's best? It is lovely to not feel pressured when choosing glasses. They may not be cheap but when having to wear them all the time its well worthwhile. Our family wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love this place. It's one of the few places left that treat you like you're someone they're actually glad to have in the building. The level of time, care and attention, professionalism and expertise is genuinely impressive and has been for the entire time I've been using them (something like 8 years so far). It's the kind of place I'd visit even if I didn't need glasses. Highly recommended.

Yes, a different experience from the big high street business and franchises. A calm relaxed friendly environment with lots of time for you the customer. Choosing glasses at the opticians isn't normally that brilliant an experience, however, Clarke & Roskrow have it sorted. Everyone I met in store whilst choosing my new specs was more than kind and attentive. Bhav was just brilliant, with his incredible knack of knowing what glasses will work before you even know yourself. This was my fist experience with Clarke & Roskrow, I won't go anywhere else from now on.

I am very appreciative of the kindness shown to me by Anthony and all the staff at Clarke & Roskrow. My mobility is poor now but they are so helpful and Baz brings the frames down to me as I cannot use the stairs. Because of my stature I cannot stand straight but I have been found a comfortable attractive pair of frames so I am no longer peering over the top of them. Thank you all so much. As always, the service is excellent, and the team is out of this world. I really wouldn't go anywhere else. I have an extremely complicated prescription. The test is so comprehensive I come away feeling very confident that my eyes and sight are well looked after. The choice of frames is outstanding.
